Some words on (and from) Controlled Decay.....

There are some things which are undeniable....

It is undeniable that corruption is rife in our World's democracies.

A small elite of Billionaire, Neo-Libertarians are quietly funding a war against us all.

Through dark money contributions to right wing policy think tanks globally, The Atlas Network, is the shell distribution centre for their funds.

UK recipients include The Policy Exchange, The Institute for Economic Affairs, the Adam Smith institute, the Global Warming Policy Foundation and a host of other Tufton Street clustered "think tanks" all have the former governments ear. And will continue to influence politics in the future.

They are the Right Wing Insurgents trying, (so very hard), to kill off the democratic process and wage war on the left and even centre politics. Through phoney culture wars and misinformation. They have a play book and they are using it well.

But they are a global network and similar thinktanks exist across the world and are propping up the numerous populist government power grabs we have seen.

Enforcing their dubious will on citizens at the cost of their liberty, environment and often their life.

Thanks to groups like these, through lobbying and financial influence, corporate entities have more rights than the individuals who consume from them and use their services. More over these corporate entities are eroding our civil rights and harming our chances of a future on this planet.

For instance rather then attack the route cause of the societal issues that cause people to steal from supermarkets, thinktanks for the (now thankfully former) government advised increasing fines and prison terms for those who are caught stealing.

Peaceful protesters are treated like terrorists, while actual far right extremists are given a platform.

Corporations and public bodies are putting injunctions on people who might protest. Costing out the facility for one to protest freely, without fear of financial penalty in the form of legal costs.

To quote George Monbiot "Inequality demands oppression. The more concentrated wealth and power become, the more those who challenge the rich and powerful must be hounded and crushed. In other words, economic inequality is mirrored by inequality before the law. You can dispense with all the other indices of democracy. The best measure of the health of a political system is who gets prosecuted."

The UK is so much in the hands of this billionaire influence it teeters on the brink of Plutocracy and the world heads towards Techno Feudalism in the final death throws of the failed economic experiment called Capitalism.

Controlled Decay is a project to highlight these inequalities and failures in our society - The Controlled Decay we are experiencing.

To draw attention to the endgame we are now playing....

We can overcome....

With collective action, education and understanding, engagement, community and love.

Which is what rave culture was always about.... Freedom, Community and Love.

In a race to the bottom this is a Rave to the top....

There is a darkness in my music, envisioned industrial machinery from satanic mills, alien sounds of fear and anguish... representations of the tools of our capture and slavery.

But there is also a hidden light trying to break through "a crack where the light gets in" symbolising our small individual efforts in this earthly struggle we face: the fight to save the planet, our ecosystems and our humanity.

This is my small effort to hopefully stop us from losing the battle against just 3000 or so people, who being richer than the rest of us combined, are attempting to manifest an apocalypse of their own choosing.
