A STRANGE ENCOUNTER AT A STONE CIRCLE WITH A FROZEN DAIRY VENDOR

Controlled Decay started producing in the late 1990s. He lost his studio sometime in the mid 2000's after a devastating burglary and gave up producing for a long time.

The KLF, under the guise of K2 LABS, released some (black and some white) pills in August of 2024,

Controlled Decay had obtained a small supply.

He took a White Pill at the Neolithic stone circle Arbor Low in Derbyshire.

The pills contained dust from the brick of ash, made from the money

the KLF had famously burned.

Nothing of note happened.

On leaving the ancient monument he saw an ice cream van that

hadn't been there before.

He stopped to get an ice cream, but the vendor had none...

instead he was offered a brick...

The ice cream vendor informed him he had the chance to be part of a "Peoples Pyramid" and if he agreed then he would remember to live life to the fullest and be cleansed of the burden of the fear of death.

He was reminded life is just a ride, that it is possible to make a small difference through whatever means.

He took the brick and walked away.

He reached the end of the road and he turned around to wave goodbye to the ice cream vendor,

But as he did, the ice cream van took off in a cloud of smoke and noise,

raising in to the sky...

And in a flash of strobe lights and a hit of police sirens... it disappeared.

He checked his watch. He had lost several hours.

It was now 3am.

An old £50 bank note floated down from the sky.

He managed to catch it with the tips of his fingers.

On it was printed in plain black ink, "Eternal",

it immediately set on fire and disintegrated into ash.

-----------------------

Once home, he placed the brick on a shelf and put "Chill Out" by the KLF on his record player and quickly drifted off to sleep... he slept the sleep of kings.

When he awoke, he was encouraged by this experience and the strange message.

He decided to release his music in the hope that if it effected just one person positively then he would have contributed to the worlds betterment and in turn he would be similarly enriched.

Having built a new studio, Controlled Decay is finally releasing his activist-tinged electronic creations to the Universe.
